It’s comic book day! Savage Avengers #1 came out and we get to see the pairing up of Conan with Wolverine, along with Dr. Voodoo! Eventually we’ll get Venom, Punisher and Electra. Over in Young Justice #5, we FINALLY get a few answers as to how Tim Drake has gotten back his pre-Flashpoint memories. Also, Angel #0 came out and we get a preview of what his character will be in the new Buffyverse from Boom Studios! Re-Imaginings or remakes generally receive negative reactions from fans. However FXitinPost is changing my mind on that idea. Recently released is a highly anticipated (among hardcore fans) Ben Kenobi vs Darth Vader in “A New Hope” that takes place nearly 20 years after the events of “Revenge Of The Sith.” If you are a Star Wars fan, watch the video. It is beyond badass.
It’s comic book day! Barry Allen Flash gets his origin retold with his Year One storyline in Flash #70. Meanwhile over in SHAZAM, the mighty Marvels are still trapped in Magic Land with Black Adam somewhat coming to the rescue (not really). DiBearCity #1 from Class Comics is out. This introductory comic title: Friendship, introduces us to 5 gay men living in the city. Each has their own unique background that is both emotional and sexually charged. Some are sad but others seem to have to have their lives in order. A new cartoon is coming to Hulu called The Bravest Knight. (See attached trailer below) This is based on Daniel Errico’s 2014 book “The Bravest Knight Who Ever Lived.” The series focuses on Nia (Storm Reid), the daughter of a former pumpkin farmer, Sir Cedric (voiced by T.R. Knight), and Prince Andrew (Wilson Cruz). The two men are happily married. Sir Cedric is recounting his tales to their daughter Nia and “on how he transformed from day-time farmer to full-fledged knight.”
Nia herself is training to one day become a brave knight while she “learns important values such as honor, justice and compassion.”
I’m sure everyone has already seen the articles about the cartoon “Arthur” showing his teacher wedding Mr Ratburn marrying his husband and some of the backlash from conservative groups have initiated against it. I am quite happy that Hulu is progressively moving forward to show that kids cartoons can show a variety of families. This may be meant for a different age bracket, but when has that stopped me from watching kids cartoons?
The first five episodes of “The Bravest Knight” will debut on Hulu June 21. There will be a total of 13 episodes AND will feature the voices of RuPaul, Christine Baranski, Wanda Sykes, Donna Murphy and Backstreet Boy A.J. McLean.
Holy crap, it’s the end of the Heroes in Crisis story! What were they thinking with this?! At least the Doomsday Clock issue has some redemption for a particular character that will not be mentioned in this brief summary. It’s Love Lost #2 with aliens Camili-Cat and Locus. Both characters are on the other side of the universe and have been separated for years now! One believes the other is dead and the other has been stuck on his homeworld with the thoughts that he’ll never return back to his love. However this issue gives hope that they will be reunited, at least hopefully they will be reunited at some point. Check out my thoughts on this issue from Class Comics but be warned, major spoilers!

You ever look at a porn or see a shirtless guy with his nipples pierced and think “Damn! That is hot!”? I do. Men with body piercings aren’t new but many more men are getting them along with tattoos. I definitely do not have any issue with this! It is even better when they are hidden under clothes. Like a extra surprise waiting to be unwrapped. Now there are a lot of different types of piercings and I don’t have time to get into them all but I really appreciate a man with them. I know they’re not for everyone, or some areas turn others on/off more so than other areas.
Now I do not have any piercings on myself. I am more of a tattoo guy, but I have thought about it. Curious though as I have heard that getting certain areas pierced over others intensifies sex for either the top or bottom. Personally I have never experienced that, but would love to one day! What are your own thoughts?

The lackluster Age of X-Man is over. FINALLY! It was very lackluster and felt more like a transition into a better story that is coming up called House of X and House of Power. We finally get the X-Men returning home to find that Cyclops and Wolverine had restarted the X-Men and unfortunately lost several more of it’s remaining members. However, the core team is back.
